I have finally have got a x-ecuter2 pro and have installed it. I had problems but it was not the chips problem and it was fixxed. I now hope I can help you with x-ecuter2 problems. I will be installing an e-xcuter2 lite tomorrow in Mitch's xbox. :D

I like the x2 a lot better then the x1

oh yea for sure better than the x1
x1 is good chip
but x2 has more features
and it also comes prewired/pogoed
and unsoldered switch

I installed the x2 in mitchs box tonight and it was a lot easier then the pro and only took me about 5mins to do.

I'm installing x2.1 lite very soon. I need to pick up all the proper tools including a 15W soldering iron. Does anyone know where I should look for one, (I'm in Toronto if anyone here lives there). I think I also need that special screwdriver to open the box, right?

Go to radioshack
and a torx is needed to open the box

sounds cool... im running a Matrix chip. i wanted a X-Ecuter2 but i couldnt get down soldering
