Well in any case it was pretty cool they had playable DEMOS of
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell (Brilliant)
Hitman 2 (I think i never saw it though)
Rainbow Six: Raven Shield
Toruk: Evolution
Burnout
Yager
Rayman 3
WWE: Raw
all on the Xbox there was no sign of Halo 2 though!
Sony had a bigger presense but most of their games were sequals and movie licenses.

dont you guys have some sort of trade show out there? I know the Americans get E3 which is 10x bigger than ECTS. Has the Xbox also had another price drop in canada or the US?
I spent most of the time playing Splinter Cell Im more hyped about it than Metal Gear Solid 2 right now. There are much more body movements and interaction with objects round you (unlike metal gear you can actually jump and climb walls ;) )
And the whole show had smaller the smaller control pads which I think are a lot better than the larger ones.
Kind of good the way you can run up behind some one. And hold a gun to their head, and the gaurds get more alart if they find a body lying around.

We do have something like E3 but most of the time we just go for a trip to L.A. and go see E3. No new price drop in canada but you guys are paying the same as what we are here in canada and in the usa.

yeah we always get shafted here in the UK and Europe its like we pay twice as much for all electronics. I have not brought one yet but My friend got his when they first came out at £300 thats like $725.402 Canadian Dollars (with the current exchange rate).
During the first price cut (£200) they sent him a free game to compensate him. But they are not offering anything like that this time.

That is way too much to pay for anything. It might be cheaper if you get someone the stuff shipped over from Canada or the USA.

yeah it would be cheaper but we woudl also have to import all out games (if we dont get it chipped) and we need a step down transformer because we use a higher voltage out here. We mainly use PAL but most of the TV's have NTSC also now so that shoudl be ok.
