Installing LED fan:
I am not responsible for anything you harm in your attempts to do this mod.
Things Requires:
I am not going to go through opening the xbox and taking everything out becuase there is enough tutorials on that as it is. If you dont know how go here.
First off you need to make sure you have the motherboard and everything out. Including the old fan held on by clips. Use some flat head screwdrivers to pry it out on both sides. Now you need to break off the two clips that were holding the old fan in. Using vise-grips or anything else that you can get a tight hold on it with, grip one clip and pull it toward the middle until it snaps off.

now that you have those both off you can choose to cover the holes with electric tape to keep the dust out or just leave them open, whatever you want.
Get an LED fan and cut off these two corners using a dremel or scroll saw:

Cut as much off as possible without cutting the leds, the wires or to close to where the fan comes. What I have pictured there works.
Now you have to cut the hard drive tray and possibly (depending on the version xbox you have) a little corner of the dvd tray. This is all just useless plastic that doesnt really matter. So cutting it out will definitely not decrease the way your xbox works. Use a dremel or a scroll saw or whatever the heck you have laying around to cut this much off of the hard drive tray:

Ignore that gray wire, that is for another mod.
Now try to see if you fan fits in there without cutting the dvd drive tray. I myself have done two of these fan mods for two xboxes and I have had to cut the dvd tray both times. If your fan doesn't fit like that and it is hitting the dvd drive tray, you have to cut it. This is what mine looks like, and it still supports that corner of the dvd drive.

You will not be able to use that screw on the bottom of your xbox. Don't worry, the other 5 will hold it together.
Now all you have left to do is plug it in. Use the straight through molex connector provided and plug in the connector coming from the PSU to one end and plug the other end back into the hard drive.

You are done! Now you have a lighted 80mm fan that fits in your xbox and can easily be slid in and out.
Now slide the fan in making sure all wires are out of the way of the fan blades. The side of the fan with the sticker on it is the side that is facing out so the air is blown out of the xbox and not in.

Now get all of your wires out of the way and screw your xbox back together, plug it in, and turn it on. You now have a great glow out of the back of your xbox. OBSERVE:
