Bios reflashing tut

ok now for this it is already considered that you have evox installed on your system in someway (if you dont get it from Xbins) and that your chip is reflashable

ok first off download xbtool from www.xbox-scene.com and xecuter 2 4977 from the usual places.
with xbtool you can change the boot partittion, colours animation, fan speed etc etc........
now change what ever you want of the xecuter 2 4977 bios (the .bin file in the rar) in xbtool (make sure its directing to your evox or default dashboard) as it will not boot if it isn't look for it so make sure so it does.

now if you have a cheapmod or any other sst49lf020 type chip, save it as 256kb (any chip that size needs to be saved as 256kb) this is also true if you are flashing your tsop on a 1.2 or later xbox
if you have a xecuter 2.0 2.1 2.2 or 2.3 type modchip save the image as 1mb. this is also true if you are flashing your 1.0/1.1 xbox's tsop.

now add this to your evox.ini at the point where it says flash
search for flash in notepad (edit search)
and replace it with this

find your chips evox meaning on http://forums.xbox-scene.com if it isnt in the listing above.
now transfer the xecuter 2 bios file to the bios folder, where your evox file is.
if your evox menu dosent have a flash bios feature in it somewhere put this in your menu
Item "Flash BIOS",ID_Flash_Bios

now press flash bios in your evox whereever you put it and select the xecuter 2 bios.
it should now flash your modchip/tsop.

once it has done that it should automatically turn off your xbox turn it back on and see if it works.
